Itapua Shoes was founded by Mathias Severino in the city of Itapemirim, ES over 50 years ago. Being a great craftsman, a maker of shoes and sandals, an entrepreneur and businessman, he dreamed of creating a company that represented a major contribution to the country, for the consumer and also for his employees. Today, more than 1,500 people are continuing the dream start for him, knowing that all began over 50 years ago, with only a street and shop with the manufacture of sandals in the back of it. Over time, the company built a factory in Cachoeiro sandals and started offering the ITAPUA sandals, selling them across Brazil to the whole country and into the international market.
